Aerosol

I think of myself as a painter when I install murals or work in the studio, my primary medium is aerosol. I create works that I hope are uplifting and engaging. I have installed hundreds of square feet of art across North Alabama. I believe in public art’s ability to enrich the quality of life of a community.

Huntsville Murals

The Rocket City. I have worked with local business owners and leaders in the community to install murals all over Huntsville. It is a beautiful place to paint, with locals from all over the world.

Decatur Murals

On the other side of the Tennessee River from the Rocket City is Decatur, my home town. Traditionally Decatur is a little river city with a mighty art scene. When I lived downtown I made a lot of friends that hosted some of my favorite murals.

Country Murals

A short drive away from the Rocket City there are several sleepy communities that love public art and have hosted my murals. I love getting out of the city and painting in the counties tucked away in Alabama like treasure in a field.

Travel Murals

When I do venture outside of North Alabama I try to take the opportunity to install murals for collaborators and communities.

Shipping Containers

I have worked on containers for events and companies. I enjoy the surface and once painted, they are like big portable blocks of art. I have even done an entire show with Decatur Container where they dropped 18 in an empty lot in downtown Decatur.

Aerosol Paintings

Aerosol painting is very gratifying for me. I have a strong tremor in my hands and spray cans allow me to make marks steering with my elbow rather than my wrist. the pressure control from the interchangeable caps allows for distinct strokes and beautiful diffusions.
